Richard Adams, same-sex marriage and immigration equality pioneer, dies at 65
Monday, December 24, 2012 at 2:35PM We feel so blessed to have met Richard and Tony. For 43 years they fought the U.S. government that tried to force them apart. Even though they lost all their court battles, were deported, had to slip back into the country, and then went underground for almost 30 years; their love won out. They were together until the moment Richard died. Thank you Richard and Tony for trusting us with your inspirational story over the past twelve years.
In honor of Richard’s commitment to same-sex marriage and immigration equality, the family requests that donations be made to our film “Limited Partnership”. Our film will insure that Richard and Tony’s legacy and life work will never be forgotten. With your help we will raise the final funds to get the film completed this year so it will be part of the final debate that will ultimately grant marriage and immigration rights to all Americans!
